There is another fan on the radiator at the front. Your problem sounds like it is with the radiator fan. .

11/27/2013  · The noise has returned. The problem I have is that I don’t think the engine bay fan is actually working when it should. The front fan comes on, but the engine bay fan (the loud one) doesn’t. I think the strange noise I hear is the fan attempting to come on…it makes a very loud hydraulic type noise for about 10 seconds and then cuts out.
